After graduating with honors from the English Department of Economics at Marmara University, Dr. Semra Demircioğlu entered the financial world and worked as an economist at various investment companies. During this period, her economic articles were featured in magazines and newspapers, and she reached a wide audience with her market commentary through television appearances. Demircioğlu joined Ziraat Portföy AŞ in 2016, where she assumed responsibilities as an economist and risk manager. She also accelerated her academic development during the same period, completing her master's degrees at Marmara University and Boğaziçi University.
In 2019, Demircioğlu transferred to Param Group and led the group's financial strategies as Deputy General Manager of the Treasury. In 2021, she was appointed CEO of Turk Finansman AŞ, spearheading the establishment of an end-to-end personal digital lending infrastructure by implementing Turkey's first "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) system. In 2022, she was appointed Executive Board Member responsible for Risk at Param Group. During this period, he successfully completed his academic studies and received his doctorate in 2024, thus achieving significant success both academically and professionally.
As CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Lydia Holding since 2025, Dr. Demircioğlu also serves on the boards of Lydia Yeşil Enerji Kaynakları AŞ, Ufuk Yatırım, Yönetim ve Gayrimenkul AŞ, and various other companies. Combining his academic knowledge with the business world, Demircioğlu also continues to contribute to the public by providing economic and market assessments on television.
